Three collagen sources, each matched to the tissue it is for.
Unflavoured, with no added sweeteners.
- THREE NAMED SOURCES · bovine for types I and III, chicken cartilage for type II, marine for type I
- 6.5G OF PROTEIN PER SERVING · drawn from three distinct collagen sources, not one source stretched to cover everything

Counting types is not the same as naming them.
The category treats source and type count as a scoreboard. What it rarely tells you is which source delivers which type, or what that type is for. That is the whole comparison.
Most collagen powders are built from one source, usually bovine hide, which supplies mainly types I and III. The cartilage in knees, hips and shoulders is largely built from type II. So the powder in the cupboard may never have matched the tissue it was bought for.
That is not a failure of patience. You tried the bestseller, the 20g scoop, the one with added biotin, and each was pouring the same single-source protein at a problem it was never type-matched to.
Three sources, three types, named. That is the whole method.
| Verava | Typical collagen powder | |
|---|---|---|
| Each source named with its collagen type | Yes | A type count |
| Type II, the type cartilage is built from | Chicken cartilage | Usually absent |
| Number of collagen sources | 3 | 1, usually bovine hide |
| Cofactors for using the protein | Vitamin C and B6 | Sometimes |
| Flavouring and sweeteners | None | Common |
| Claims about how you will look | None | The whole pitch |
Every source named, with the type it delivers.
Nine ingredients. Three of them are collagen sources, each printed with the type it supplies. The rest are there because the body needs them to put that protein to work.
Hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides
The primary collagen source, matched to skin and connective tissue.
Hydrolysed chicken cartilage
The type of collagen cartilage is largely built from.
Marine collagen
A second type I source, as hydrolysed peptides.
Vitamin C
A cofactor in normal collagen formation.
Vitamin B6
Contributes to normal protein metabolism.
Hyaluronic acid
An ingredient associated with skin hydration.
Horsetail extract
A traditional source of silica.
Bamboo extract
A second natural silica source.
Acerola fruit extract
A natural source of vitamin C.
Contains fish (marine collagen), beef (bovine collagen) and chicken (chicken cartilage). Not suitable for anyone with an allergy to fish, seafood, beef or chicken. Full ingredient list on the label.

Questions.
How do I take it?
One serving a day, stirred into whatever you already eat or drink: coffee, porridge, soup, a sauce, a smoothie. It is unflavoured on purpose, so it adds protein without changing what the meal tastes like.
What is in it?
Hydrolysed collagen peptides from three sources: bovine (types I and III), chicken cartilage (type II) and marine (type I), giving 6.5g of protein per serving. Alongside them, vitamin C at 6mg, vitamin B6 at 2mg, hyaluronic acid, acerola fruit extract, and silica from horsetail and bamboo.
Why three sources instead of one?
Different tissues are built from different collagen types. Bovine hide supplies mainly types I and III; cartilage is largely type II. A single-source powder cannot cover both, so we use three named sources and print which type each one delivers.
What does hydrolysed mean?
The collagen has been broken into smaller peptides during manufacture, which is a standard food process. It dissolves without clumping and does not leave a chalky texture.
Is it suitable for men?
Yes. Collagen is a structural protein in every body, and this is unflavoured protein rather than a beauty product. It is intended to work for a whole household from one tub.
Are there allergens?
It contains fish (marine collagen), beef (bovine collagen) and chicken (chicken cartilage). It is not suitable for anyone with an allergy to fish, seafood, beef or chicken. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a medical condition, speak to your doctor before use.
Can I cancel the plan?
Any time, from the online portal. You can also skip a delivery or change the interval without contacting anyone.
